Emma and Marks simple, vintage wedding was set amongst the gardens of Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens. We had portraits with photobombing cows on the neighbouring farm lands with a sunset and Australiana trees on one side, and moody pine trees on the other. Rich pink hued florals popped against the bridesmaids daring black dresses, and a classic styled marquee held their celebrations into the night.
To celebrate their exciting engagement, we headed down to their stomping ground - Wellington Point, Brisbane. This picturesque spot sums up these two so well with sun, sand, calm oceans, dogs and a care-free atmosphere. We had so much fun running around after these two and their pooches. We can’t wait to do the same for their wedding day!
Julian and Rochelle’s modern vintage wedding was set on the beautiful grounds of Sirromet Winery, Mt Cotton. They said their i do’s by the Laguna Chapel with family and friends in the afternoon sun. They had a simple and elegant colour scheme of cream florals and dusty green foliage, gold sequinned bridesmaid dresses, and suits of blue/grey tones.
These two sweet hearts had an elegant, vintage-chic wedding under an arbour of white fabric and green foliage, set amongst the high trees at Mt Nimmel Hall, Springbrook. Jenaya looked timeless in her long sleeved lace gown, with rich reds in her flowers and on her bridesmaids. Farmlands and lush long grass were our landscapes for portraits.
Indi and Nicks boho wedding was set on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. They tied the knot on a quaint field set upon the properties of Novotel Twin Waters. We ventured onto their friends’ property which showcased scenic views of the beautiful Sunshine Coast’s hinterlands. A big tipi and cosy table arrangements hosted their night festivities with relaxed acoustic live music, fire pits, good vibes.
We love to travel, especially through New Zealand. Matt and Elia were our travel buddies when we weren’t shooting weddings there. One of our favourite stops was Tunnel Beach, Dunedin. These beautiful sea-carved sandstone cliffs, iced with a layer of greenery on top, were our playground for the afternoon. Matt and Elia had also recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary, so capturing this small but significant milestone amongst this breathtaking scenery was definitely a must. The weather was cold and gloomy which called for beanies and snuggles to warm up these two High School sweet hearts.
Clare and Trent had a classic and minimalist styled wedding. Their catholic ceremony had various family and friends be involved to add a personal and sentimental meaning. Bridesmaids wore ivory dresses with bouquets of soft pinks and creams, whiles the fellas wore suits of dark grey. The urban landscapes of Brisbane’s Story Bridge an Kangaroo Point were our playground for portraits.
This sweet elopement was the first duo to tie the knot at Ardreena Events. Overlooking breathtaking hinterland views from Mt Carool, they held their ceremony with just their parents and their son as witnesses. Her bouquet could make any mouth drop with lush foliages and amazing pink natives which were also draped over their arbour.
These two balls of energy had an elegant, Hampton's styled wedding. A waterfront mansion was were they both got ready and held the entire wedding. Their ceremony was set by the pool, overlooking the waterfront views. They then partied the night away with canapés, espresso martinis and a live band playing punk rock anthems to start of the party.
This fun little styled shoot was inspired and brought together by the talented bridal accessory designer, Janette Maree. We played around with boho, vintage and girly bridal dress at The Borrowed Nursery, as warehouse full of pot plants and greenery.
Set amongst the manicured golf course of Hillstone St Lucia, family and friends gathered to celebrate the coming together of this family of three. Brittany is a classic, full glamour bride with her beautiful daughter Hallie who is nothing short of a little fairy princess. David looked sharp in his classic, navy blue suit. These two could easily be models on an average day, so photographing them was… needless to say… easy!
Sometimes we just like to play around for no reason at all. We really just felt like playing around in some moody water to see what would happen. We grabbed a friend of ours and put her in something white and kind of flowy and headed down to a creek in Nerang and just went with the flow (pun not intended).
April and Jacob’s wedding was a boho, farm chic style held on Jacob’s family Norco Milk dairy farm. Dusty green foliage with dusty pink dresses and dark suits was the colour scheme. Despite the torrential rain storm, we embraced the luscious green fields and partied the night away in a rustic wool shed.
Ever heard a love a story and thought… that could make a good book? Well this one literally is. Britt and Mitch met over in India where they fell in love almost instantly. Their adventures and intimate emotions have been transferred into a book by Mitch himself. Their day reflected everything about their story, with a boho, indian, beachy, eclectic and easy going Byron Bay wedding.
Taran and Carlins elegant, modern wedding was held at Sirromet Winery, Mt Cotton. They tied the knot down by the Laguna Chapel with close family and friends. Her long sleeved gown and long veil with Carlins sleek and modern suit, made for a very suave couple.
